1771 David Calladine Of Heanor

Journal by Dave Calladine

David was born the eldest of eleven children to Thomas Calladine (1749 - March 7, 1836) and Mary(c1751 1817) in 1771 - in the small town of Heanor in Derbyshire,

His father Thomas Calladine (64 on my ahnentafel) was also born in the small town of Heanor.

Davids occupation is not listed. His mother may have been Mary Rumley who married a Thomas Calladine on May 18, 1769 at Pinxton, but it is not yet confirmed.

Davids baptism is proving hard to find, I could not find it at all,the records have some serious water damage.

He married ANN HOUGH. She was born 1771 in Heanor, Derbyshire, and died 1838.

Child of DAVID CALLADINE and ANN HOUGH is:
i. DAVID CALLADINE, b. 1814, Heanor, Derbyshire; d. 1893. He married ELIZABETH BUTLER, daughter of TIMOTHY BUTLER and MARY WOOD. She was born 1816 in Heanor, Derbyshire, and died 1894.

David Calladine, Laird of Balmoral in Scotland, joined the Jacobite rebellion in 1745 and with 2 sons marched to Derbyshire with this army. He was wounded and remained in Derbyshire. His children were Elizabeth c1770-1822 (m.Samuel Coupe), George c1874-80, David, John, Joseph, Hannah, Ann (m. ? White). I have more info on Elizabeth and Ann. But I can't confirm anything. Can you?
