Edward married Mary Ann Hern (1812-1892) and they immigrated to New Zealand in 1842. Edward's brother, Isaac (1819-1902) and his wife, Jane Baigent (1820-1891) followed in 1853. Their sister, Eliza (1829-1902)
who had married William J. Robson, came the same year. Descendants lived in New Zealand, Australia, and elsewhere.
