Alfred Augustas BALDOCK and Kate OHALLARAN were married in Victoria in 1888.

Alfred died 1924 in Geelong, Victoria, aged 58 years. Parents recorded as Thomas BALDOCK and Ann CHAMBERS.

Kate died 1933 in Geelong, Victoria, aged 68 years. Parents recorded as Patrick OHALLARAN and Elizabeth MCMAHON.

Birth note. Kate was born Catherine OHALLORAN in Geelong in 1863. Birth records name her parents as Patrick OHALLORAN and Elizabeth MCMAHON.

* I'm under the impression that Reginald and Rheinhold may be the same person. I have a birth for Reginald but no marriage or death, and with Rheinhold I have a marriage and death, but no birth.

You are correct in that Rheinhold and Reginald are the same person, the registrar seems to have had problems either with the name or the transcription as it seemed blotted. He was born 6th November 1889 but wasn't registered until 27th January 1890.

I expected something like this may have happened. I have come across this sort of thing many times over the years and I think people should keep things like this in mind when having trouble trying to locate a birth and death for someone. There are of course many other reasons. Hope your comment will help others.
