Dar CCX16, Welcome.

You can securely purchase Certificates online for a small fee each at The NSW Registry of Births, Deaths & Marriages click on 'search indexes' left hand margin, and select either 'birth and death' or 'marriage'.

To find information on Jack (real name John) CONSTABLE you would need to purchase or obtain a copy of your grandparents marriage certificate in the hopes that additional information is revealed. I did find 'one' burial record in NSW for a John Stanley (Jack) CONSTABLE born 25 Dec 1902 died 17 Oct 1994, husband of Janet, buried Wee Waa General, Roman Catholic section. This couple could have been married in 1928 as there's a NSW marriage record. Australian Cemeteries Index

I think this is the death record for your great grandmother Clara ...
Clara H. FIELD died 1935 Bathurst NSW daughter of George & Hannah. If this is correct, this would make her possibly born in 1874 as there's a birth record for a Clara Hannah STOREY in 1874 at Bathurst NSW daughter of George & Hannah STOREY.

And there are birth records for 'Amos FIELD' between 1788 and 1910 as follows:-

Amos FIELD born 1852 NSW son of Amos & Hannah FIELD.
Amos F. FIELD born 1871 Carcoar NSW son of John & Mary A. FIELD
Amos FIELD born 1872 Bathurst NSW son of Thomas & Mary A. FIELD
Henry Amos FIELD born 1879 Maitland NSW son of William & Edith FIELD

~~~
Amos FIELD and Clara H. STORY were married in 1897 at Bathurst NSW. The couple had seven children that I can find through births registered at the NSW Registry of Births, Deaths & Marriages. NB Clara Anna FIELD is also transcribed as Clara Hannah FIELD.
Children:-
1.Rachel A. FIELD born 1898 Rockley NSW
2.Ada F. FIELD born 1900 Rockley died 1903 Bathurst NSW
3.Violet M. FIELD born 1902 Rockley NSW
4.Mabel G. FIELD born 1905 Rockley NSW
married 1923 John S.C. CONSTABLE Bathurst NSW
5.Amos R. FIELD born 1906 Rockley NSW
6.Albert S.Roy FIELD 1909~1967 Bathurst NSW
7.Henry George FIELD born abt 1911 died 1967 Sydney NSW
Register as a new user of Rootschat free site, scroll down to their Australia childboard and post lookup requests. Have a read through their Australia Resources. So as not to offend, please note that a search for 'aboriginal' or 'aborigine' may reveal photographs of those who have died.
Best wishes,
EDITOR (Qld).
Dear Chel-Ann, you're welcome. Happy to help another Aussie! What I recommend is especially if you are catching the genealogy bug is that you think about storing all your family tree data somewhere, preferrably in handwritten format to start off with in the form of family group sheets, then transfer your data electronically. I would look at the FamilySearch LDS Database website, search for their Personal Ancestral File software and download this as it's free.
Ask any and all relatives what information they may have already so as to reduce the costs of your family tree research: e.g. old Wills, enlistment papers, bdm certs, Native Title claims, etc.
EDITOR.
Hi all,
I am looking for Kate (Catherine) Flannery who married Louis Theodore Wilfred FUNNELL at the Enngonia Hotel in 1887 and came to Bathurst in 1895. Kate (1873) was an Aunt of Amos Alfred Field because her sister Mary Anne Flannery was the wife of Thomas Field (they were Amos Alfred Field's parents) Kate vanished after putting 3 advertisements in the Bathurst Free Press in 1895 stating that her husband Louis Funnell (Jockey) had not contributed in any way to her upkeep since her marriage and if he did not contact her or return to her within a month she would remarry. The ads also held the name AMOS FIELD. Hope someone has later news of Kate.
Hello are you still trying to take your 'Field' line back further. If so contact me on shangledhill2002@yahoo.com. I am researching this line for a friend who is a Field.
