Francis skinner was tried and convicted for Larceny from a person - at Londons Bailey Court House in December 1823. He was transported to NSW on the Minerva in 1824.
On arrival in Australia he was employed by William Cox of Claredon at Windsor and it is thought that he was a bricklayer.
On the 4th March 1830, aged 29 years, he married Ann Reason aged 26 years at St. Mathews Church Windsor, by rev. Joseph Docker witnesses were Laban White and Edgar Cox.
