Ancestry.com has Sir John Browne, 1st Bart of the Neale, married in 1626 to Mary Browne, daughter of Dominick (sic) Browne of Galway (of whom no further information. I have a hand drawn family tree of this Browne family done by Charles H Browne in January 1862, which he gave to his cousin, Fanny Georgina Charlotte Brown (my great grandmother), in which he shows a Dominic Browne of Breaghwy being the youngest son of Sir John, the 1st Bart.
QUESTION: Are these Dominic(k)s one and the same person?
Ancestry.com goes on to show the father of this Sir John as Josias Browne, born c. 1586 and his mother as Joan Bermingham. But no mention of any Dominic(k).
Sincerely, Robin
