ANDERSON/ TASKER UNION NSW, AUSTRALIA

Journal by HazelzHome

ANDERSON Hazel (DOB: 1928 or 1930) My Grandmother 'orphaned' in 1930's in NSW - Newtown/ Marrickville vicinity. Care was passed to 'relatives'. Parents 'rumoured' to be William ANDERSON and Kathleen TASKER - possibly married around same time as G'mother's birth. Grandmother married Michael Desmond FAHEY in 1947 and set sail with him for Perth, WA. She died in 1988, him some years later.

What I have learnt... William ANDERSON may have been married previously and died in the mid-1930's. Kathleen TASKER's parents were not in favour of her marriage to ANDERSON and perhaps withdrew their interest/ support from her also.

My Grandmother requested that her ashes be spread over the Blue Mountains... a very strange request for a person who would not speak of her NSW past.

Lasly, I am getting very square and very tired eyes from searching in places where there is nothing to find and the cost is astronomical!

Looking forward to connecting...
