Ann Medhurst born (1830 - ?) Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, England
Married Augustus Neve (1827-1911) in 1851, divorced prior to 1867 as Angustus then married Anna Catherina Margaretha Haasa in 1867.
Would like to know what happened to Ann after her divorce as Augustus is my husband's g grandfather.
We're there any children born to Augustus and Ann?
Did she marry again?
Thanks.

Hi I have had a quick look round as the two names just caught my eye simply because a Medhurst was our local butcher when I was a boy and a Neve lived next to my Uncle. (Sevenoaks Kent) I took my clue from the fact the marriage was in London and I found an Ann Neve who died at Woolwich Kent in 1875. She would have been 44 or 45 if it is your Ann born 1830. I would doubt there was a divorce because back then it was very hard to get one. If there was a divorce then the local newspapers would be over it.
I could find any children -but I have only done a general search.
There is a record that suggests Ann was either in some sort of home or school when 11 years old under the the care of a John Beesby of Lindslade Aylesbury. There were a lot of children "of the Household" so I suspect boarding school. 1841 census.
At age 21 she was back home in Aylesbury. her mother was Harriett Sunders sister Frances 1851 census.
I hope this helps.
