George Percy Wiltshire, but known to family as Uncle Dick, was born in 1890 and died in 1961 in Christchurch, New Zealand. He was my uncle; his father was my grandfather Thomas Hammond Percy Wiltshire who was born on the ship Percy in 1866 on the way to New Zealand with this parents George Wiltshire married to Sarah Hammond. Uncle Dick was married to Annie Mary Greatbatch in 1921. They had two children: Peter Thomas Windsor Wiltshire, born on 9 July 1921 in Palmerston North, NZ, and killed when shot down while piloting a bomber over Germany on 21 January 1943; and Bevan Carroll Wiltshire, born October 1927 and died on 4 November 1927.
