Letter and research info:
19 Feb 2013
Requested obits for Lewis Asher, in my tree, a divorc with 3 children in Scott County, Iowa, who refused to pay alimony and child support at his desertion. The judge garnished $20/mo. He was a railroad man and not a resident of Iowa at the time of his divorce.

Ms. Friesel checked Ancestry censuses to aid my search for this doppelganger. She said the deceased was in Monroe County, Indiana, at the time my Lewis was with his first wife.
