Adam DEAHM (aka DIEHM / DEIHM / DIEHME) born abt 1837 probably Germany married 1861 Maitland NSW Australia {Reg.No.2043/1861} Barbara KNOENIM (also known as Maria and Mary Barbara KNORR and/or KNOEHUM) and this couple had at least 9 known children that I can find on the NSW bdm indexes online.

Australian Cemeteries Index has his burial records - Deahm John J 29 May 1908 46?y son/Adam & Mary B; husband Branxton General. Possible marriage to a Mary Ann BENDEICH / BENDUCH 1867 Patricks Plain NSW. If anyone is interested in the BENDEICH surname, I found a family tree at RootsWeb which contains 174 records of people holding this surname, tree goes back to 1600s Germany, with descendants in Australia. She married 1885 Patricks Plain NSW to William Duncan BURSTON born 19 Dec 1863 Patricks Plain, died 13 Jul 1948 Newcastle NSW, the son of James BURSTON 1816~1888 of Langford Budville, Somerset, England and Margaret Stewart FINDLAY 1836~1906 of Kirkudbrightshire, Scotland emigrants to Australia.

**Interestingly at FamilySearch I have found a marriage in 1877 Singleton NSW Australia between Margaret Catherine DEAHM and Henry BURSTON. Not sure where they fit in yet.

5.Frederick William DEAHM born 1875 Paterson NSW Australia died 1948 Singleton NSW. NB IGI record. Possible marriages PATRIDGE and/or KERRIGAN.

6.Elizabeth DEAHM born 1876 Gresford NSW (NB IGI record). Possibly married 1898 Singleton NSW Australia to Edward F. WILSON.

7.James DEAHM born 1880 Patricks Plain NSW Australia died 1906 Singleton NSW. Possibly married Martha M. MORTON 1906 Newcastle.

8.Henry DEAHM IGI has birth 1880 Gresford NSW died 1882 Newtown NSW Australia.

9.Barbara J. DEAHM born 1883 Patricks Plain NSW Australia.

I see that you have a Moncrieff on your research list. do you have any in the Portsmouth, South London and Shetland Isles. During the years the name changed to Moncreaff. Look forward to your comments. Regards Victor from Southampton England
