George Byrn
- married Cecilia HYLAND in 1882


Henry Le Toler Byrn (1828-1892)
- born in County Carlow, Ireland, moved to NSW, Australia then to New Zealand in 1855. Later became Bailiff in the Residental Magistrate's Court in Masterton
- Le Toler, after his mother (at least), Annie Le Toler BOID
- Henry married Emma BALL (1854-1918) 11 March 1871 Greytown
- He was then 43 and Emma was 17
- in June 1873 Henry was appointed Police Constable and the Keeper of the Public Pound in Greytown (23km south of Masterton)
- they had 11 children over 20 years:

1873 - 1891 Annie Byrn
1876 - 1943 Mervyn Byrn
1877 - 1936 Dorcas Byrn
1879 - 1965 Henry Toler Byrn
1881 - 1945 Horace Byrn

1886 - 1937 Bernard Byrn (died in California)
1887 - 1960 Evelyn Byrn
1889 - 1984 Ellen Byrn
1891 - 1937 Archdall Augustus 'Tom' Byrn
- Archdall was also the name of his father's brother
Henry Le Toler Byrn snr, died in Masterton 12 April 1892 aged 64
- he is buried PLOT 5 - ROW HLTB - PLAN IV at Archer St cemetery
his wife Emma Jane died 8 May 1918 aged 64
- she is buried with him
