Allpress CATLIN and Annie Maria HOPCROFT nee KING were married in Tasmania on the 04 April 1870.

There was also a George HOPCROFT and Mary Ann SHACKLOTH married in Tasmania on the 26 March 1855, but I don't know if this was the same George HOPCROFT that died in 1869.

thanks so much, have most of this on Allpress Catlin . On some of later records it states Annie Maria formerly King.Could Hopcroft--King got married on a ship or??????/on her death notice it states she was from England.I think the Mary ann Shackloth was too young as at her death Ann Catlin was 68yrs old in1898 where as Mary ann was 14 in 1855.there is a Sarah jane Hopcroft born 1862 to a George Hopcroft and a Marry Ann Moffat in 1862,there is also aThomas Hopcroft and a Mary Ann Mabott having a female born in1856 these last two could be the same.Oh for the marriage of Annie marie and George. As stated my g/gfther was Allpress my g/fther was John Allpress and my dad was John Allpress Catlin. Allpress 's had a brother Hills named after his mother maiden name and Allpress was named after his g/mothers maiden name Mary Allpress. Thanks again max
