- he married Annie Clark SEARLE (1866-1932) in 1889 in New Zealand
They had at least 12 children

He was buried 11 Aug 1940 in General Row 41 Plot 56 at Old Levin Cemetery. He had been living at Ohau. The records show he was aged 88 which is a birth year of 1852
Annie Clark Olsen had died in Ohau, Levin on 8 Jan 1932 aged 66 (being January it is probable she was born in 1865)
They are buried together
A son of theirs, Herbert Christian Olsen was born 16 July 1896 and died in 1970 aged 73. This may be the one you refer to above
