Welcome to the site Walshclan.

Would all the CAVENAGH given names posted above be siblings?

I posted some CAVENAGH marriages for Victoria (1841 to 1900) on here some years ago with similar names but don't know if they are the ones you are looking for without more details.

To save members research time and to assist with record searches it will speed things up if you include parents names, and any birth/death/marriage details you have for the children.

Good luck.

Thank you for your reply. Sorry for the delay. As it turns out, this particular family were not related to the Cavanagh that I was researching. The chap for whom I am searching is my Great Great Grandfather, Edward Cavanagh. I know a lot about him after he arrived in South Africa, but nothing before that. An obituary written about him said that he was born of Irish parents, in Bath, in 1823. It also says that his parents left Ireland about 1798. That is all I know about his early life, I cannot track parents nor siblings.
Best regards
John
