Granny Charlesworth was Mary Ann Casely born in Penzance, Cornwall, England in 1844; came to Australia as a girl about 18, and married Samuel Charlesworth. She died 3 January 1931 in her 87th year, leaving 26 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. I believe she worked as a nurse up until she was in her 80's.
