Military Service: CSA, 39th Alabama Regiment
A worthy Confederate veteran in the 39th Alabama Regiment and belonged to Longstreet`s Corps. Served four years and had an honorable discharge. He enlisted on May 13, 1862. Came home from the Civil War with $2.00. He spent one dollar on a watch and one dollar for a wedding license.
He married Sara Frances Alford. They lived at Edmnd`s Mill nearOzark, ...more
