Edward PASCOE married Sarah GEMMILL in Cambridge, Waikato 30 May 1898

The marriage of Miss Sarah GEMMILL, third daughter of Mr Thomas GEMMILL, Cambridge and Mr Edward PASCOE, eldest son of Mr E.PASCOE, of Puketiti, was quietly celebrated on Monday, May 30th, at the residence of the bride's father.
Sarah Agnes Gemmill (1875-1900) & Edward Pascoe (1874-1952)

The Rev., Mr SCOTT officiated, in the presence of the contracting families.

The bride was given away by her father, and looked extremely well in a tasteful and becoming dress of pale heliotrope cashmere, trimmed with silk and pretty hat to correspond.

The bridegroom's gift was a handsome gold brooch.

Mr K. GEMMILL, attended her sister as brdesmaid and Mr John GEMMILL acted as best man.

After an excellent wedding breakfast the happy couple departed amid warm congratulations and best wished for Te Kuiti, near which place they intend making their future home.


Edward & Sarah had:
* 3 January 1899 - Clarissa Agnes Pascoe
- married Thomas Haig WALKER in 1921
* 12 August 1900 - Gertrude Pascoe
- Gertrude died in May 1932 aged 31


Sarah died on 4th September 1900 aged 27
- (23 days after the birth of Gertrude)


Edward was born 24 September 1873 and he joined the Loyal Duke of Cambridge Lodge in 1897 agd 23

- he remarried in 1905 to Maud Mary WAIT (1877-1967)
