... The death occurred at Christchurch recently of Mr Edwin Harris, who was well known in Wellington. For fifty-two years he was a member of the staff of the "Christchurch Times" and upon his retirement in September, 1929, he was presented with a testimonial from the management and staff. He was a prominent member of the Ancient Order of Druids, and was the first District Grand President of the Order.
He leaves a widow and a grown-up family
