Enoch TONKIN married Anne STEPHENS in Madron, Cornwall, on the 27 November 1731.

According to the IGI Index Enoch was born in 1745, and names his father as Edward. I have failed to locate this baptism in any of the records.

I now ask the question - who said he was born in 1745?


Updated 27 February 2010 for the information of other researchers who have been hitting brick walls like me.

Since posting the above entry further research indicates Enoch TONKIN was born in 1729, and his father's name was James TONKIN. It appears Enoch was married twice.
