- Thomas was a farmer and in 1893 a cow belonging to them gave birth to triplet heifers, causing quite a stir around NZ, many thinking that they would not procreate but 2 years later the 3 of them did
- Thomas died 29-2-1904 and is buried in the Memorial Area, Row M, Plot 21S, at Inglewood Cemetery
- Eliza died 16 years later and is buried Memorial Area, Row M, Plot 21N, at Inglewood Cemetery

- Kate died aged 41
1886 - 1974 Alfred Lewis Bishell
- in 1907 he was working on H. Jenkin's farm on the Lower Stuart road, Taranaki
- married Mona Moretta Lowe 1908
- he died on 26-4-1974 at Rangimarie Home
- he is buried at Independent Block Row, 5 Lot 1, Plot 1, at Te Henui Cemetery. Mona died in 1958 and is buried beside him

- Robert was a labourer
- his ashes are in the Garden Of Remembrance, Inglewood
- his wife Ivy died 4 years earlier(living in 118 Rata St Inglewood) and her ashes are also in the Garden Of Remembrance
NOTE Also on the passenger list of the Halcione was 30 year old Robert Bishell with his wife Elizabeth and baby daughter Louisa. Robert was a brother of Thomas and was born in Whitepit Lincolnshire
