Some Irish Orphan Girls ships went to Adelaide. My Gr x 3 grandmother, Johanna Flanagan, arrived aboard "Inconstant" 9th June 1849. She somehow got to Bendigo, and married a Cornish man, Samuel Johns.

There is alittle confusion over Margaret Donovan arriving Melb per Eliza Caroline 1850 and Margaret Donovan arriving Sydney per John Knox 1850. I have found referrence to Margaret per Eliza Caroline marrying Leonard Maxwellin Sydney 1854, however I believe this is the Margaret from the John Knox who married Leonard Maxwell. If anyone who can shed light on which Margaret Donovan it was I would be very greatful.

also....I was told Margaret Donovan per Eliza Caroline came with a sister, so does anyone knows which other Donovan girl was Margarets sister?
