I remember being on the farm in Ancho. My father was Albert Carl Straley Jr originally from Lubbock. I remember visiting a relative that was referred to as "L Y" and believe that his wife was named Sally. One of his sons was a fire fighter. I have some photos of the ranch when my son was about 2 years old (approx 38 years ago).

Hi, my name is Linda Sanders. My uncle, Jack White or Jack Cooper worked for the Straley Ranch in Ancho. His wife, Bennie Cooper, also worked there in the 1930's. My mother married a Straley (I believe) and I'd like to find his name.
Her name was Willa or Billie Fry and they would have been married between 1936-1939. Any information would be helpful.

Thanks so much,
Linda Sanders

Ralph lived in Grosse Pointe Michigan.Ralph had two daughter Dennis, Corrine and one son Rolf Tommy J your dad is my 1st cousin. I remember coming out to your grandmother ranch when I was 6 years old that was the first time I met your dad. As kids did we play around the ranch. Cope Jr. would put the blanket and saddle on the horses and we would ride around. We rode a baby bull in the corral. The older kids would squirt us with milk while they milked the cow. Going down to the chicken coop picking up eggs for breakfast. As a kid it was fun on June ranch. Were is dad living now. Last time I saw your dad was when he was in High School. Remember spending the night at Tommy Knight house before going hunting in the mountain the next day. A lot of horse play that night. Rolf Caldwell ckot61@gmail.com
