Getting Started

Article by Sandee

I have been researching my family tree for a good many years now. I started back in the early 1990's, everyday life has a way of stepping in and all other quest have to be shelved but in the quite times I always pick up my desire to know more about my Roots and how we got where we are today. Sadly during in the time I first began my research my family has lost a whole generation, and this was all with in 2 years. All I have now are the memories that they left with me... from these I have been able to lay down the foundation to plant my Roots firmly in the soil and hopefully leave a trail for my ancestors to easily follow... I am looking for more information on John Franklin Lovelady and Martha Bowen Lovelady of Bluff Springs in Clay County, Alabama. These were my Great Grandparents.
