God's Special Choir

Journal by charlesoshields

This is my desire This is my dream To one day sing in the choir Where the angels cannot sing To join the redeemed my robe of purest white Singing praises unto God with my soul and all my might For me to sing in this choir A price must be paid i must be washed in the blood that my savior gave I love to sing unto the Lord while living on earth below songs that praise my God And of His love and mercy show There are many great singers in the world that i admire But i'll sing like the very best when i sing in that special choir. I think ( I could be wrong) the above was written by Richard 'Faye' Bloodworth. The son of Ralph Morgan Bloodworth 1903-1942 and Sarah Elizabeth DYES. He was born Richard Bloodworth and I believe he was the brother of Frances Eugene Bloodworth 1938-2011 with two other brothers Billy Bloodworth and Jerry (Marta) Bloodworth That's about all I can tell you about Faye.
Frances'Gene' Bloodworth, a native of Milledgeville and resident of Citronelle, Alabama died 10 April, 2011 age 72 - don't know if he made the choir or not but in life he was a maintenance supervisor at Lockheed-Marietta, McGaw Laboratories and Carrier Air Conditioning. Gene was a U.S. Air Force veteran and affiliated with Bethel Baptist Church in Citronelle.
He's buried in Pine Crest Cemetery. The majority of this family's ancestors who were methodists are buried at the Snow Hill Methodist Church Cemetery, Wilkinson County, Georgia
I may have the wrong Faye because there's about 8 floating around both male and female - but that's genealogy.
