I am searching for the correct information of Jesse R. Hall, and his father and grandfather. Ancestry.com has him born about 1869, some others have a date of 1868, 1870, 1872, 1875. Ancestry.com is not a reliable source.my grandfather Jesse was born somewhere around Antwerp, Jefferson, New York. The dates I have are from 1872-1940 and that was from the library in Watertown. This according to cemetery records. What I do need is a online visual of a birth and/or death certificate preferably both. New York is a hard state to get anything from. Have to pay to the nose to get anything. A birth certificate would show the correct information I need. Now for the Cross family, I am looking for the grandparents William H Cross. The information I got is from ancestry.com and not very reliable. I can't even get my great grandfather's/grandmothers name. I know my grandfather died in 1967 in Watertown and is buried in Hounsfield, New York. He was born in 1901. Anyone with information about this family, I sure would be grateful. Keep running into roadblocks on both families. Ancestry.com is not a good reliable source. Made a mistake of moving to my current location,instead of moving to New York.
