I am trying to find my great-grandfather's real name and information. My grandfather was Jesse R Hall born in 1868 and died in 1937 according to the Hillside cemetery records in Jefferson County New York. My father Bernard Edward Hall 1921 – 1979 was also born in New York. According to ancestry.com I keep coming up with different spellings of my great-grandfather's name. He was born around 1845 and died in 1873. This is also according to the Hillside Cemetery records. Spellings I get my great-grandfather are:Alvinza,Albinyo,Alvinsa, or somewhere in the general spelling. If anyone out there can help me out so that I can do my family research on my own I would sure appreciate it. Ancestry keeps coming up with different names and dates that don't agree with each other.
