how can i find out information about my family tree when i know very little about it, there are so many morris's out there aparently were related to ned kelly but i cant figure it out n its doing my head in

To research your own genealogy (and not someone else's) you must first start with yourself and work backwards. Once you have your great grandparents names with the help of birth, death and marriage documentation and perhaps putting your family tree online Geni you should find out a great deal.

Don't worry about 'stories' at this stage, because they are probably just that.
