She is my Grandmother. I know she grew up i the Shannon Area.
She is from a family or 8 or 9 children. Her parents are Iraia and Makareta McGregor nee Peni.
She married John TeOne McGregor. I know he has a Sister Laura (girlie) McGregor and he remarried Grace.
If anyone knows any info on both my grandparents that would be great. Thank you.
Hi there, My name is Rebecca Peni, My father died when I was 2 and I have been trying to find out about his family. My mother doesnt know anything about his family history. His name was Lewis Ruatiki Peni, and his fathers name was Bunny. I saw your comment on another page naming Bunny as one of your grandmother's brothers and was hoping you could help me out with any info. I know that Iraia and Makareta had a son named Lewis Ruatiki Peni who was killed in action in Italy in 1944. This must be the man my father was named after although I havent been told this, I have just come across this over the internet while i was searching for info on my dad and figured this must be the case. If you could help me out with any information at all it would be much appreciated!
