Can you share with us a bit of what you've tried and discovered so far? Have you asked your parents and grandparents for what they know? Do you have your family tree filled out up to any of your 4 pairs of grandparents, or any of your 8 pairs of Great Grandparents?
ARDERN and BRIENESSE will probably be easier to research as they are much more unique than HALL. You'll be overwhelmed by all the HALL information out there that mostly has nothing to do with you.
Good luck, and don't be afraid to ask questions.

janilye on 2011-09-25 01:45:38I could give you the Giles ARDERN b:1841 Cheshire d:1942 Thames, New Zealand ancestry but doesn't look like they called in to Tasmania and I can't find a Phillip down the line. He would be the most prolific of the ADERNs in New Zealand.
