homeland origins of Shapleski

I have just returned from visitng our ancestral town of Starograd-Gdansk in the North of Poland. This is the place where the Shapleski family left to come to New Zealand under the Vogel Scheme sponsorship in 1875 to the Special Settlement in Jackson's Bay, NZ.
