How do I find my Indian heritage when I have no last name of the Grandmother

hello angelsperch1 - the question you have asked - in its present form is just about inpossible to answer , because the management and members of this website have nothing to work with . you need to come up with a surname/ surnames - possible date/dates - possible place / places . I only believe that it could possibly be the HUGHS, Robert My 2 Great Grandfather was born 1821 so it would be his father or grandfather
between 1750 and 1800, from Ireland. I do not know their names. Robert was born in Illinois then moved to Kansas. This is all I have I can not find any father for Robert Hughs. I'm still searching

Hello angelperch1- Go to familysearch.org > click on (- International etc' IGI > put in robert hughs > region - put in north america- in country put in USA in county put in Kansas . their is around 15 entries for that surname . Follow the parents- dates etc hope it helps you find the answer -Regards -edmondsallan
