Hi.... thank you abouy 13 years ago Murray Lincoln D Touche. flew to CA and met me. I had the disc of the entire tree, unfortunately everything was destroyed in a fire. I know that Edith Married Edward Touch,my grandmother tried to convey all of this when I was 15, I was'nt interested. My grandmothers cousin Connie and her sister Gertrude were last in Palo Alto, when I went up to meet them. Connie was extremely hostile, my grandmother and her were estranged, and she did'nt want anything to do with me, her sister gwennie was wonderful. I know that Edith and Edward were married in Bombay. Percie and I have talked. I've lost touch with Murray. what upsets me is that there are an the American side of cousins in Michegan. I know my grandmother had an Auntie May, she adored,in Montreal, because We have the same birthday,October 31.
connie has since passed saying all of the Indian artifacts she had were going to a museum. the touches seem to be quite illustrious, they are part founders of Deloitte and Touch. I would like to find my American cousins, the clan these people belong to,and stay at the castle Murray said was open in Scotland. This last name has different spellings they are the Dukes of Audley, and the Earls of Castlehaven. "Lady Touch" and her husband, sold Mick Jagger a home. I'm definatly on the wrong side of the tracks. Edith married a Agustus Morgan and they moved down to New Orleans. My grandmother lived in Biloxi Ms, most of her life, where I was born. Sorry for the book I'm frustrated. I was told by Connie we hail from the Clan Mackensie? although I talked to them but they don't know the name. My cousins here in Three Rivers would know. The American Edith Touche I'm sure is dead now. She was in her 80's in 1996.They are in Burkes peerage, other than that I just don't know. than You so much to listen to me babble. Holly
Sorry my great grandmother Edith married Agustus Morgan. Edward touch born July 9 married Ellen Sibley, born August 8, these were Ediths parents. My grandmother is their daughter. All of them moved to Montreal and several if not most to the Chicago area where my grandmother was born. they used to have a family gathering at Corey Lake in Michagin. My mother has tons of pictures of her and her cousin Larry Morgan taken there. She is not intertested in this.
I also have a biological father by the name of Jay Lee Jackson who I've never met. He was born in West Layfayette Indiana in 1935 the first week of October. His mothers name is Annabelle Driscoll. I would like to know if I have any brothers and sisters before I die. Again my mother will not help, she met him at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi in 1956. Her name is Carol LeMay.
I cannot help with the "overseas stuff", the UK is where I can find information for you.
You have one of those families, as have I that would or would not talk to each other. I ha
