I am looking for CURR in New York in the 1800s

Journal by town67

Rhoda Curr was born in New York or England or came over from Ireland depending if the research is in the 1850 or 1860 census or relatives. According to a family bible, Rhoda married Abram Norton in 1837. Her daughter Mary Ann Norton married Willam Wallace MANN in 1856. Mary Ann's history brings us to Delaware,Iowa in the Western Reserve in the 1860's and into Cairo, Nebraska in the 1870's. Surnames,SNYDER, HARRIS,REYNOLDS in Nebraska, and later the latter two in Rock Springs, Wyoming.

There are some Currs in western New York about 1850. Even an Abram Norton is there, but the information is scarce and I haven't found
an Abram with Rhoda. She may have remarried a Thorogood. Any research out there on the New York western reserve?
