I am looking for John Rowley (b 23 November, 1834) who married Mary Ann Barlow (b 1830) on 6 July, 1857 at Madeley, Staffordshire

Query by Henryhector

One of their children, Clara Ellen Rowley, she was born in the October-December quarter 1870. This family do not appear on any of the census records within the UK, so I am unable to trace this family back any further than her father John Rowley.

Clara Ellen Rowley married by grandfather Samuel Brookes on 29th December, 1890 at St Margaret's Church, Betley, Near Crewe, Cheshire.

Any information on the Rowley family would be very much appreciated.

Thanks Noggin for the information. I can now give John a father and hopefully this will help me to take things back a little bit further. Thank you very much.

I would like to say thank you again for the wonderful websites you suggested. There are Churches on there that I have tried to gain access to for years to search their records. Now I can sit at home and check them out from the leisure of my own home. I have already got lots of information that I didn't know existed. Thank you again.
