I have information that William MURFITT b. c.1754 md. Ann POPE in 1774 and had 9 children. I do know his father from Cambridgeshire.

Hi Ken, thank you for your reply, but your info differs from mine re. dates for Williaam Murfitt. Although, we match with wife Ann Pope married 12/10/1774 (Thetford) and I also have nine children listed, my dates for William are 1747-1794 and your info. states dob as 1754.

I have his parents as Nicholas Murfitt 1715 and Alice Murfett (possible a distant cousin)c1720. Regards Bill M.
