I am trying to research my family history, but as with many, am limited on funds. Any where I seem to find some info. They want $$$, and I'm not even sure if the info. they have is pertinent. Suggestions or resources????

Also, try Cindi's List. It's a collection of links to genealogy websites, and some are free.

Hello. I have found many many contacts for my families on 'genesreunited' they do make a small chrge now, but only a few pounds and results are good. Put your basic tree up and they send all compatable links for you to exchange information with.
In Uk; also 'Online coucilors are volunteers that do research on a parish and allow one to see it online; also will try to help if asked for helf free. You input county, parish then look for volunteer. not sure of letters as in OLC, or ONC.
