robcam1864 on 2013-09-17 09:05:10Hello RaeleneRosas: My Maternal Great G/Parents were John & Hannah (GOW) Daniels. They are buried in Campbells Creek/Castlemaine Cemetery. Also buried in the same grave is Jane Gow (Patterson), wife of Robert Gow, and Fredrick Daniels , aged 14, John & Hannah's son. Robert Gow is buried in the Daylesford Cemetery (unmarked grave) The Gow Family came from Dundee, Forfarshire, in Scotland, to Portland, Victoria, Australia.There is a web site "GOW FAMILY" Blair Atholl Marriages (Scotland). I'm not sure of exact site. Hannah had a younger sister, Lillias. Her decendants are in New Zealand. I got a lot of information about 1990 re our Gow connections. I will have to get out my files and update them.(Not on Computer yet!)
