I'm researching the Valentine family in New Zealand, predominant in Taranaki and the Browne family from Rahotu, Taranaki.

Do you know someone who can help? Share this:

Is this the Joseph Bap 19 NOV 1752,Greenhouse/Bradfield,Yorks,England whose parents were Henry Grayson & Martha Bramall married at Bradfield, Yorks on 14 Nov 1739? If it is I have found on International Genealogical Index the following children baptised to the same parents (Henry & Martha):

John Grayson - Male Christening: 04 FEB 1740 Bradfield, Yorks.
Mary Grayson - Female Birth: 20 DEC 1741 Bradfield, Yorks.
Mary Grayson - Female Christening: 20 DEC 1743 Reynold-House, Yorks.
Henry Grayson - Christening: 27 SEP 1747 Reynold-House, Yorks.
Samuel Grayson - Male Christening: 24 MAY 1750 Greenhouse, Yorks.
(Joseph Grayson - Male Christening: 19 NOV 1752 Greenhouse, Yorks.)
Thomas Grayson - Male Christening: 08 MAY 1755 Greenhouse,Yorks.

The first Mary is likely to have died in infancy for another daughter also to be baptised Mary.

You should probably cross check on census or parish registers to be sure.
Good hunting...........
