My name is bruce william clevenger j.r. I have this need to trace my blood-line. I don't know why. All the research I have done, has led me to a british immigrant, in new york, in the mid-1640's. Do we all stem from this one man? And what about before america? Are we "key-bearers" or "cleavers"? Any path presented would be appreciated.

I seem to have the same problem bwcj, but what I do know is that you might get some answers if you have your great grandfathers' details. Hope this helps.
