I'm trying to find my family tree information about the last name Jacobs. I know I have a family member by the name of Joseph Hooker who was called "Fighting Joe " in the Cival war .He was born in 1814 and died in1879 .

my mother's maiden name is Jacobs from adams county, pa. i have a ancester book, from my aunt i'll i to see if anyone was in the civil war. debbie
