Hello Savy,
With regard to Clare Steenkamp (nee Brightwell) her husband's name was Peter. Clare was born about 1914-1915 but I am sorry I do not know if she had children.
I found out my information when a researcher in South Africa found lots of items in the Archives. eg, Wills, death notices and marriage contracts. Just in case you are interested, her name is Tessa King-- [email protected]

Thank you for your interest,

This has cleared up a mystery. My grandmother Ida Drinn is the niece of Sarah Crane married to George Dove. Sarah was born on 20 September 1860 in Tipton, Staffordshire, England and she and her eight brothers and sisters and parents moved to South Africa between about 1885 and 1890 as far as I can work out. I have located all her siblings' marriages etc and some of their descendants using a website which had death notices, wills etc. Any information on descendants of George and Sarah I would be interested to receive.
