My name is Brenda L. DeLong Reid. I grew up in Pickaway County, Ohio. My Dad was Orville V. DeLong (10-01-1911 to 05-29-73, son of Cyrus Merkel DeLong and Hazel Miller DeLong of Ross County, OH.

I'm very new to this Research and would LOVE any helpful information one can offer.

Bren, I have a Delong line who came to Canada after the American Revolution. They emigrated from Holland to New York very early in American History so your ancestry likely connects with mine. If you can track your grandparents through the American Censuses you will find out where they came from before Ohio. You can access that information for free at an LDS Family History Centre on ancestry.com. There is no charge to access the info just a charge for any print outs you get. Take care.
