Jacob Wysocki b Aug 9 1891 d Sept 7 1945 I am looking for his parents names and any siblings and where he was actually born.

Query by LynnL

He is my grandfather. I've found various spellings Jacub, Jacob, Vysocki, Wysocka, Visocki. I have various info that states he was from Russia and Jewish, from Poland, or Luthania. I found he came over with a brother named Filip who was a yr or 2 older. His 1st wife was Aniela and second was my grandmother Sophie Czajkowski. They lived in Chicago. I haven't been able to trace his family. He worked as a car man for the railroad in Chgo. I have his book that lists his registration with the Brotherhood Railway carmen of America and his lodge number. He was killed by a train car.
Thank you.

I think this might be your Jacob. It might be worth getting a copy of the original record it shows a photo of Jacob. Not sure where you would get this from I live in the UK. It is on Ancestry.com if you have access.
