Jeremiah Pelcher is listed in the passengers list for New York 1860 ship North Star. I am at a wall to find out about his where abouts before this time. He lists Kingston Canada as his birth place, list his father as being canadian and his mother from england. Can find no records. Name spelling may have changed but have not been able to prove that either. I just dont know where to go from here. He also said he was in the civil war but when his wife filed for widowers pension was told no records on him although he gave a lot of information. Help!!!
