John Clark-1759
I've hit a wall folks and have been stuck here for about two months. I have leads to England and Ireland but nothing to confirm. Subject John-1759, wife Abigail Hutchinson, is the son of Reverand John Clark and Hannah Gibbs. Reverand John was born 1778, New York, died 1852 New York.

Hey there guys, have you tried logging onto Rootschat as a free member and asking someone to do a lookup of old parish registers for you - baptisms, marriages and deaths?
And try these two links...
Family Search
Surname Navigator
Don't give up.
And put your family tree online excl. living, at either tribalpages or rootsweb.
Cheers,
Al downunder.
Hi there, started a bit of a search for you too.
Came across a lot of stuff. I suggest you click on the tribal pages link and email those that you think likely to look like your family ties.
Request a password as a guest to look at people's trees.

probably another minister with the same name. But date of death within 2 years.

I have a document written several years ago from "Family" It tells of a William Clark an orphan in England-in his late teensescaped from the master to whom he had been asssigned and stowed away on a ship carrying Redcoats to fight in the revolution. He disembarked at a port inthe West Indies and worked his way from there to North Carolina.Once there he married the widow of a Revolutionary soldier. This was near Winston -Salem--he became a Quaker-- They had one son Thomas. He was my GGG Grandfather. Could this be the William you are searching for? I haven't given up finding his parents but have run into a lot of brick walls.
