I'm looking for a John Latham probably born in Alabama (Central) in the US about 1881. He married Mattie ? and they show up in the 1910 Census in Shelby County, Alabama and had 4 children. I know that they later moved to Greenville, South Carolina, USA, but I don't know where they were before or who their parents were. Mattie MAY HAVE BEEN NATIVE AMERICAN....Cherokee???

Hi my lathams came from birmingham england and then came out to tasmania, australia in 1828.
So i dont think our lathams are the same lot ...sorry
