Information & Research Journal.
John MADDERN and Honor HARVEY were married in St Levan, Cornwall, on the 18 November 1837. The marriage was witnessed by Richard MADDERN and Thomas TONKIN.
Possible death for John is 1893 at Pine Grove, Victoria, aged 82 years. Parents recorded as John MADDERN and PEE. I have a feeling John's mother was Patience WARREN but this has not been confirmed.

Five children located for John and Honor but there may be more.

* Emma's age has been recorded as 24 years. She would have been about 73 years. Very possible the informant was a bit confused and upset at the time and gave their own age. Yes, it did happen.
** The death of a Jane Hervey MADDERN was recorded in Victoria in 1851. The father was recorded as John MADDERN. There was no age or death place recorded. It appears an error has been made when recording the birth and death of this child, and I'm still not sure if it was James or Jane.
*** Emma's first husband, Charles MOLYNEUX died 1881 in Geelong, Victoria, aged 29 years. Parents recorded as John MOLYNEUX and Maryann TAYLOR.
