Joseph ASHTON, Lower Dublin, PA -- Where is he from? Who are his parents/siblings?

Query by SharonD

Joseph ASHTON is first recorded in Lower Dublin, Philadelphia Co, PA about 1681; he was married to Jane.

Numerous family trees have been posted saying his father was Isaac Ashton from Ormskirk. Best as I can tell, that's "copycatting" from one posting on a message board, where a person (who cannot be contacted and did NOT provide sources) identified parents and siblings. I have confirmed this family DID exist through my own research, HOWEVER, I have NOT confirmed that the Joseph in this family is the Joseph in Lower Dublin! He could be, but is he?

One BIG problem with the posting is it seems to be predicated on Isaac Ashton (alleged father)dying in Bucks Co, PA in 1699 as recorded in Quaker records. HOWEVER, this is NOT Isaac of Ormskirk. Isaac of Ormskirk was b 1624 in Ormskirk, and buried a wife in the early 1680s. The Isaac who died in 1699 was engaged to be married, and mentioned his mother in his will! (HIS mother was b in 1587 and d ca 1667)

So -- WHO is Joseph Ashton? WHO are his parents/siblings? WHERE did he come from? And who is Jane? Nothing is known of her except her first name; no marriage records in either the US or Lancashire (most likely location for this Joseph) have been found.
