Joseph Walter TULLEY is my great-grand father on my maternal side. He arrived in New Zealand from England in 1859, as a child, with his father, John Lawrence Tulley, his mother Margaret nee RANSOM, and two brothers, John Ransom. and Alexander Harvey(or Henry ). The ship they came on was the "Cresswell" arrived Lyttleton, Canterbury 12 September 1859. The family settled in Christchurch. joseph became a compositor, John a publisher.1878 Joseph married Martha Jane RHODES born 1861 Christchurch, New Zealand, they had ten children 5 girls 5 boys.

I would like any information or photos of this family. I have two photos of my great grand mother, one as a young woman and one as I remember her as an elderly lady. Nanny Jane, as we knew her lived to 95.
